SEAT New Leon Overview
The all-new Leon has arrived. Worth the wait? You bet.
This is the sweetest-to-drive and most refined Leon ever, with a perfectly balanced suspension and punchy turbocharged engines. There’s clever driving aids like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist and Side & Exit Assist to make motorway journeys a piece of cake, and a 10.25” Digital Cockpit and 10” touchscreen on SE Dynamic models upwards to bring some useful technology to your drive. Full LED headlights are a standard feature with FR models sitting on 17” alloys and a lowered suspension. FR Sport models include the Winter Pack with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Design
Meet the sportiest, most sophisticated Leon yet. The all-new Leon combines sleek styling with a sporty cockpit to keep you coming back for more. Full LED headlights with dynamic indicators and the Digital Cockpit are available as standard.
Drive
The Leon is powered by a range of TSI, TDI and e-TSI engines with the e-TSI models incorporating hybrid technology. The 1.5 TSI is our pick of the bunch with 148bhp on tap and seriously good performance across the rev range.
Practicality
There’s an extra 49mm of legroom in the rear over the old Leon and there’s also a ski hatch built into the rear bench for loading through longer cargo. The rear seats split fold 60-40, expanding the 380-litre boot to over 1,300-litres.
Living with it
The 10.25” Digital Cockpit is a joy to use and the touchscreen is either 8” or 10” depending on the trim level. The new fly-by-wire DSG transmission has freed space up front and combined with the electric handbrake makes life a lot easier.
