We have two car showrooms. Our Belfast showroom is located on Boucher Road and our Lisburn showroom is located on Moira Road. Each of our showrooms has a great selection of new and used cars. Our showrooms are COVID safe and we follow current COVID and government guidelines. You can still browse through our cars online and our sales are open digitally. BUYING YOUR CAR
Can I buy a car online?
Yes. You can reserve a car online from our website for £99 at any time. One of our team will call you back during sales hours and start the process. We will organise finance, service plans etc and send you through the documents electronically for you to sign. The £99 deposit will be taken off your vehicle price. Can I test drive the vehicle?
Due to current Covid restrictions, we cannot offer test drives. However, you will have 14 days to decide if the car is right for you upon delivery. If the car is not suitable you can return it. Read our returns policy here.
Do I have to put down a deposit on my car?
No. We have several finance packages with a no deposit option. Get your car sooner and pay later with monthly instalments. Get in touch with our sales team who will be able to give you more information.
When do I pay for the vehicle?
Depending on your method of payment, you must pay for the vehicle either prior to or on collection/delivery of your car.
How do I pay for my car?
We understand that buying a car is a very considered purchase. Therefore, we try and make the process as hassle-free as possible. We take several payment methods. You can pay for your car in cash, with a debit/credit card, by bank transfer or through finance.
Can I pay cash for my car?
Yes. We would ask for a cash deposit to secure the vehicle. Once we are ready to release the vehicle, we would ask you to pay the rest of the cost on collection of the vehicle. We can take up to £9000 in cash if that is your preferred method of payment.
Do you offer car finance?
Yes. We have several finance packages available to help with the purchase of your new car. However, it completely depends on the make and model. We offer finance options for retail and commercial customers including HP, PCP and business contract hires at competitive interest rates. Talk to one our sales team to help you further. Your finance must be in place and paid out prior to collecting your vehicle.
Do you take in part exchanges?
Yes. You can trade your old car in for any vehicle from SERE. You can check how much your car might be worth using our ‘Value My Car’ form. Simply fill it in and we’ll get in touch to find out a few more details.
How long will my MOT last?
We do our very best to give our customers less things to worry about. That's why, if the car you purchase from us is 4 years old or older, it will have a minimum of 6 months MOT remaining.
What warranty do you offer?
All our vehicles are sold with a comprehensive warranty at the point of sale, ensuring you can drive away with confidence.
Am I eligible for the Motability scheme?
To be eligible for the Motor scheme, you must be in receipt of the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), the Enhanced Rate of Mobility Component of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).
How does the Motability scheme work?
The Motability Scheme was created to help the disabled and disadvantaged stay mobile. It does this by allowing you to swap your Mobility Allowance for a new car, with your Allowance covering part or all of its cost. Many of the common costs associated with running a car are also built into the lease price. These include comprehensive insurance, annual road tax, breakdown cover, windscreen cover and servicing. We have over 160 car models available on our Motability scheme. Simply get in touch with one of our Motability specialists who will offer expert help and advice to ensure the car you have chosen is right for you and your needs.
Can I buy a car for my business?
Yes. Our commercial car offers are available across our range of vehicles from pick-ups, vans to SUVs. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Can I finance a car through my business?
Yes. We have numerous HP, PCP and tailored business contract hire options to help with all business transport needs. You can choose from both our new and used cars.
Where can I get my car serviced?
We have a service department at both our Belfast and Lisburn locations.
Will you remind me when my car needs serviced?
Yes. Depending on your service plan, you will get a reminder from us that will give you plenty of time to book in for your service.
Will you service my car if I didn’t buy it at SERE?
Yes. We have an expert service department in both Belfast and Lisburn. We have comfortable waiting areas if you decide to wait whilst we carry out your service. Call us for a quote. Due to current COVID restrictions, our service department is still in operation to respond to all servicing and essential maintenance. However, our waiting areas are temporarily closed.
Can you complete warranty work on my vehicle?
Yes. We complete warranty work for all of our franchises, SEAT, MG, SsangYong and Mitsubishi. Get in touch with our service department to find out more.
Can you prepare my car for its MOT?
Yes. We offer a fully comprehensive MOT check by our qualified technicians for all cars.
Do you supply car parts?
Yes. SERE Motors sources any car parts or accessories that you might need or want.
Do you only supply franchise parts?
No, if you require other manufacturer parts, we can source these.
