New Mitsubishi ASX
A smarter drive awaits with the new Mitsubishi ASX. It’s powered by an efficient 2.0 petrol engine with the option of 2WD or 4WD and comes equipped in Exceed specification with Lane Change Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring for safe cruising. Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language is on point here, with 18” alloy wheels and LED headlights to finish it off. All models now come equipped with an 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reversing camera and heated seats. Exceed models take spec to another level with a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Family life just got a whole lot easier.
Design
Compact SUVs don’t come more stylish than this. The ASX’s sculpted body, LED headlights and Dynamic Shield design language give it a real aura of pedigree. It’s functional yet classy, with a suitably high-tech and comfy cabin to match.
Drive
2WD or 4WD models are available. Those with 4WD exhibit incredible all-weather ability, with a 4WD Lock mode for seriously tricky conditions. The ASX rides and handles well, with a 2.0 petrol engine which will return up to 37.7mpg combined.
Practicality
The ASX has a tow capacity of 1,300kg and a 406-litre boot. You can easily expand the boot capacity to over 1,000-litres by folding the 60-40 rear seats, and if you have children, there’s ISOFIX anchorage points on both rear outermost seats.
Living with it
Staying connected is easy with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and so is parking thanks to the reversing camera. Exceed models also come with satellite navigation, a power-adjustable driver’s seat and leather upholstery.
