SERE Motors Gear Up for Belfast City Marathon 2026 with Four Relay Teams

Excitement is building at SERE Motors as we proudly announce our participation in the Belfast City Marathon 2026! On Sunday 3rd May, four SERE Motors relay teams will take to the streets of Belfast, bringing energy, teamwork, and community spirit to one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic running events.

The marathon begins at the beautiful Stormont Estate at 9am and finishes at Ormeau Park, passing through some of Belfast’s most iconic roads and landmarks. Our relay teams will cover five legs, combining strategy and stamina to cross the finish line:

• Leg 1: Stormont Estate → Montgomery Road (4.2 miles)
• Leg 2: Montgomery Road → Boucher Road (6.8 miles)
• Leg 3: Boucher Road → Falls Road (4.5 miles)
• Leg 4: Falls Road → Duncairn Gardens (5 miles)
• Leg 5: Duncairn Gardens → Ormeau Park (5.7 miles)

Each team brings together colleagues from our Lisburn and Belfast locations, showcasing the teamwork and camaraderies that SERE Motors is known for. From seasoned runners to first-time participants, our employees are ready to take on the challenge while supporting a great cause.

Our four relay teams are made up of dedicated staff members from across the company, representing the Lisburn and Belfast sales teams, aftersales, head office, and directors. Each team brings together a mix of skills, experience, and enthusiasm, reflecting the collaborative spirit that drives SERE Motors every day.

From seasoned runners to first-time marathon participants, our teams are ready to tackle the five-leg relay course, support each other along the way, and showcase our commitment to employee wellbeing, teamwork, and community engagement.

By combining different departments and roles, every runner contributes to a strong, unified effort - proving that teamwork at SERE Motors extends far beyond the showroom.

SERE Motors is proud to support the Community Rescue Service, a vital Northern Irish charity dedicated to saving lives and supporting local communities in times of emergency. CRS provides fast response to accidents, medical emergencies, and critical rescue operations, relying heavily on volunteer teams and local fundraising to continue their life-saving work.

Our marathon fundraising goal is £1,000, and every contribution helps CRS purchase essential equipment, fund volunteer training, and expand their services across Northern Ireland. You can support our runners by donating through our fundraising page or via donation boxes in our Belfast or Lisburn service centres.

By participating in the Belfast City Marathon, SERE Motors aims not only to challenge ourselves physically but also to raise awareness and support for a charity making a real difference in Belfast and beyond.
