SERE Motors Renews Sponsorships with Local Sports Clubs!

We are proud to announce another year of sponsorship with Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Ridgeway Mill Football Club, and Derriaghy Cricket Club!

Lisnagarvey Hockey Club is a club steeped in history with a deep-rooted commitment to the sport. Situated just one mile from Hillsborough village, their state-of-the-art hockey centre on Comber Road boasts two world-class water-based pitches and a modern clubhouse featuring a spacious function room. However, the club’s impact goes beyond its impressive infrastructure, Lisnagarvey Hockey Club is renowned for its dedication to nurturing young talent and growing the sport at all levels and we’re proud to support their ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for the next generation of hockey stars. This blend of top-tier facilities, sporting achievement, and community focus cements Lisnagarvey as a cornerstone of local and national hockey, continuously pushing the sport forward for future generations. 

At its heart, Lisnagarvey Hockey Club is a family-focused organisation, home to six senior men’s teams and five senior ladies’ teams. Their thriving youth program, which includes over 350 members, reflects their dedication to the future of hockey and even the youngest aspiring players can get their start through the engaging Hockey Tots program, designed to introduce children to the sport at an early age. This inclusive, community-driven approach makes the club a hub for players of all ages and skill levels.

Ridgeway Mill Youth Football Club holds a special place in our hearts as a youth-focused organisation as one of our staff members is actively involved, and his son plays for the club, giving us firsthand insight into the positive impact Ridgeway Mill has on young athletes. The club not only nurtures a passion for football but also instils essential values such as teamwork and discipline, creating a supportive environment for players to grow both on and off the pitch. 

As a youth football club, Ridgeway Mill competes in IFA Grassroots SSG fixtures and the Mid Ulster Youth League. We’re excited to support their mission and see how they continue to empower young players through sport, and we especially look forward to their social media posts celebrating the achievements of their teams, including the Player of the Week feature, which highlights individual contributions and fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment among young players. Their commitment to developing talent and promoting teamwork inspires us, and we’re eager to be part of their journey as they positively influence the lives of young athletes in the community. 

Derriaghy Cricket Club has a rich tradition of promoting cricket within the local community and we’re thrilled to continue supporting their initiatives that foster a passion for the game and offer valuable experiences for players of all ages. Their strong focus on youth development and community spirit resonates deeply with our values, making them an ideal partner in our efforts to enrich the local sporting landscape. 

We’re especially proud to celebrate Derriaghy's recent achievement as the Irish National Cup Champions in 2023. This remarkable success is a testament to the club's dedication and hard work, showcasing the talent and determination of their players. We look forward to seeing how our collaboration can further enhance their programs and positively impact aspiring cricketers. Together, we can continue to build a vibrant cricket community that nurtures the next generation of talent and inspires a lifelong love for the game.
