No child should wake up to nothing on Christmas day, but unfortunately due to the cost of living crisis, more children than ever are at risk of exactly this. With families left with the choice to “heat” or “eat” this winter, Christmas may be something they simply can’t afford this year.
Cash for Kids are on a Mission to help Santa reach children and young people in Northern Ireland. SERE Group share their belief that all children should be able to enjoy and live life to the fullest and therefore are delighted to, again, be supporting Cash for Kids Mission Christmas through fundraising and gift donations to ensure that no child wakes up to nothing on Christmas day.
Our glistening Christmas trees are up and gifts piling up underneath them, ready for Santa to deliver to children throughout Northern Ireland. In the meantime, SERE Group will be raising money through a Christmas bake sale and our annual Christmas Jumper day.
Whilst we’re jingling our bells and taking part in some festive fundraising, why not find out how you can help children this Christmas? Mission Christmas have kindly offered ideas for gifts if you aren’t sure what to buy, and you can donate gives in person, online, or even request help! If you are feeling the Christmas spirit, feel free to join us in our Belfast and Lisburn showrooms, or Bodytech in Carrickfergus, on Thursday the 8th of December, to buy some Christmas baking, and help support Mission Christmas (Christmas jumper preferred, but not essential).
We will be accepting gift donations at both Belfast and Lisburn showrooms as well as Bodytech in Carrickfergus. Please, if you are able, donate in any way you can this Christmas: no child should wake up on Christmas for it to be just like any other day.
